ISO Documents

The International Organization for Standardization aims to improve the quality of products and services by preparing documents that show the structural standards that businesses must have. The ISO 9001 document, published for this purpose, is one of the standard series prepared in 1987.

What is ISO 9001

The iso 9000 standard series prepared by ISO is a quality standard series. These standards, which aim for businesses not to harm human, environmental, and animal health structurally and institutionally, rather than goods or products, can be said to show the rules that the organization must comply with within the institution. The International Organization for Standardization, which wants the infrastructure to be established to respond to customer demands, aims for companies to reach a certain quality within certain directives. With the quality management system, which we can also accept as a system establishment, it means that the continuity of the organization has been ensured and a certain framework has been created in terms of structure and management. ISO 9001, a quality creation system, is a quality assurance model. Having this system means catching up with the standards of industrially developed countries above a certain level. ISO is developing a series of standards specific to different sectors, and these standards are suitable not only for that sector but for all sectors. The biggest advantage for businesses that provide these sanctions is that they can appeal to a wide audience in European Union countries. It is a document that shows that a set of standards determined by the International Organization for Standardization has been met.
