First Aid

First Aid
Some basic principles of first aid should be known by everyone; because it ensures lives are saved. For example, by placing signs on the access routes in case of an emergency to prevent other accidents; immediately opening windows in case of gas asphyxiation, turning off the electricity in case of electric shock are the simplest preventive measures. The progress in technology, the information of people, and social organizations now allow for the immediate performance of the necessary first intervention to eliminate a very close risk of death or to relieve pain. Sometimes even a simple action saves a life: for example, if the patient is choking and cannot breathe, opening their collar, shirt; if they are injured and bleeding, trying to stop the bleeding by pressing the wound with a cloth. In most cases, the patient should not be moved, except in cases of fire, drowning, or being in a dangerous situation. Removing an injured person from where they are trapped should be left to experts. Whatever the situation, the first thing to do is to remain calm and take the necessary steps for help to arrive as soon as possible, while protecting the injured person as much as possible.
